WICHITA FALLS

Wichita Falls was incorporated September 27, 1872. It was officially named in 1876. The birthplace of the city was on the corner of Seventh and Ohio Street, the day sale of town lots was held.
Wichita Falls is home to Midwestern State University, an accredited four-year college. The Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame relocated to Wichita Falls from Amsterdam, New York, in November 2015.
